State receives first made-in-Oklahoma electric vehicles from Canoo

The State of Oklahoma received its first three made-in-Oklahoma electric vehicles from Canoo as an innovative part of the state’s ongoing fleet modernization initiative. At a combined cost of $119,850, these three Lifestyle Delivery Vehicles (LDVs) are the first of their kind in the state fleet, with one each assigned to the Office of Management and Enterprise Services, the Department of Transportation and the Department of Corrections. Governor Stitt Celebrates Launch of Oklahoma Parental Choice Tax Credit

Governor Kevin Stitt celebrated the launch of the Oklahoma Parental Choice Tax Credit program and revealed the Oklahoma Tax Commission (OTC) received over 30,000 submissions within the first 90 minutes of launch. OTC, alongside its operational partner Merit, began accepting applications on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. CST. Oklahoma City Human Rights Commission Task Force Formed

Oklahoma City Mayor David Holt appointed McSpadden Milner Rott principal Seth Rott to serve on the Oklahoma City Human Rights Commission Taskforce. The Taskforce is to make recommendations to the City Council on reestablishment of the Human Rights Commission. Oklahoma Opts Out of Physician Supervision of CRNAs

Oklahoma is now the 19th state to opt out from federal regulations that require physician supervision of Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs). The American Association of Nurse Anesthetists reports that governors of 18 states and Guam have exercised such exemptions prior to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services' (CMS) suspension for all states during the COVID-19 health crisis.
